While the sun is shining, we’re thinking heli-skiing. Here’s a little re-cap from the 2010 season to hold you over until both the powder and heli flies next winter!

With all the snow we have received in April and early May, the ski touring is still quite good, especially above 5,000′. One tradition we enjoy in the springtime is cruising around our heli-ski terrain and picking up landing zone stakes as they emerge from the snowpack. The stake pictured here just poking out of the snow is one from our Easy Pass landing, a place that was the scene of many good runs and good times this past season. This stake was standing quite high at the end of our season on March 21 so one can get the idea of how much snow fell since then.
The deadline for booking trips in 2011 at last year’s prices is quickly approaching (June 1st). Contact the NCH office for more information or to book your trip to our little powder paradise.
